Description This is a rectangular shallow basin with three rounded corners. The fourth is pointed into a pour spout. The rim is folded over and there are five ribs in the bottom. The basin is coated with a white porcelain.
Notes Used in an office in Cadiz used by five doctors between 1894-1975. Donor uncertain who purchased this equipment. Homer Blane (1873-1918) set up the office with his father Henry. Dr. J. Lacy Hopson (1883-1926) followed Blane. The donor's father, Dr. John Futrell (1899-1974) and his brother Elias(1899-1979) practised there from 1927-1974. Probably used with examining bed 1993.9.3
