Description The painting is a watercolor cityscape. In the foreground is the Old Capitol Hotel steps and facade with people in rain gear walking. The background has trees, buildings, truck-like vehicle, people with umbrellas and the steeples from some of the Frankfort churches.
Notes In 1968 KHS made 5,000 collector's prints for a membership campaign. Other known titles include 'Old Capitol Hotel.' An old note also refers to this painting as the 'Capitol Hotel Steps, Frankfort.'

The donor was Paul Sawyier's cousin.
