Description This is a woman's white "Life Savers" suit. Part a is a long sleeved tailored jacket with a three button front closure. The piece has two patch pockets at the waist with flap and button closures. The jacket has two decorative buttons at each cuff and the piece is not lined. Part b is a straight skirt with kick pleat. The skirt has a side closure with a zipper and one button.
Notes The donor said the items in this collection belonged to her mother's sister. When they passed away, the clothing was left to her mother. As a child the donor said she loved playing dress up and had a rich supply of clothing. Other family members gave the donor items over the years as they learned of her collecting interests. It is unclear who wore the clothing but a letter in the file indicates that the family lived in Kansas.
