Description This is a white china saucer, painted with picture of Capitol Hotel in Frankfort. It has scalloped edges with small bumps around the edges and the lip of the saucer is accented in gold. There is a pink rim around the outer edge. At the upper center of the saucer is an image of the Capital Hotel, with "Capital Hotel, Frankfort, KY" in black underneath.

On the bottom is a maker's mark, "Wheelock Made in Germany for W.T. Reading Frankfort, KY. Dresden." There is also a sticker with the object number.
Notes Old card, "Mrs. Jennie Chinn Morton gave a cup and saucer and plate of Dresden china, painted in Germany, with scenes of Frankfort, Kentucky."
