|Description||These white linen pantaletts are constructed of four panels for the legs, but have an odd construction of several pieces at the waist line. The waistband is constructed from two pieces. The waistband is closed at the viewer's left with a mother of pearl button. Attached to the front at the waist band are two small pieces that are then attached to the leg pieces. Attached to the back at the waist are four smaller pieces in long triangle shapes. The opening, located below the button on the left, is 11 inches long. The leg bottoms are finished with six rows of small horizontal pleats and an applied eyelet edge. The edge is scalloped with a single row of eyelet holes and an embroidery on the cut edge to finish it.|
