Description This painting depicts a landscape with a house and several outbuildings. The main building is a red house with a stone foundation. The outbuildings and another house are to the right. A stone fence is in the lower half of the picture along the field. A wooden gate is in the fence line.
Notes Arthur Jones in his 1976 book, 'The Art of Paul Sawyier,' said that this was commissioned by Dr. J. Leslie Davis of Philadelphia, PA in October 1916.
