Description This portrait depicts Mrs. Bradley seated in gold upholstered chair with wood trim. She is wearing a dress with a purple bodice and pink sleeves and skirt. There is heavy lace trim around the sleeve edges topped with a purple bow. There is a very large lace mantel around her shoulders. She is holding a white lacy fan in her right hand. She is wearing a pearl necklace and a Spanish-style comb in her up-swept hair. She is facing to the viewer's left. There is heavy drapery in the background.
Notes Margaret Robertson Duncan Bradley was the wife of Kentucky Governor William O. Bradley. Bradley was governor from 1895-1899.
