Description This is a circular political campaign button, made by lithographic process, for Marlow Cook. It has blue (top) and white (bottom) background. The top half has the slogan, "Young Kentuckians/ for" in white print, and the bottom half reads, "COOK" in blue print. It has a stickpin on the back.
Notes Marlow Cook (born July 27, 1926 ) was a Jefferson County Judge who was defeated by Louie Nunn in the 1967 Republican gubernatoral primary. He defeated Democrat Catherine Peden for a seat in the U.S. Senate in 1968. He lost his seat in 1974 to Wendell Ford.
