Description This is a miniature leather "book" that serves as a needle case. The exterior is leather and is in two parts, where the top part lifts off. Around the area that would have pages is lined with a decorative paper. The inside is made of wood and is hollow to hold the needles.
Notes Note inside reads, "This little needle book was made by my great grandfather Adam C. Keenon for his wife, Betsy Clarke Keenon, at the bindery which he owned and operated in Frankfort, KY, from 1840 to his death. (Stagg received it from Keenon's daughter, Irene K. Claxon, his great aunt.)
