|Description||This is a Kentucky Military Institute (KMI) Sam Browne belt. It is made of black leather, although the underside of the leather is a light brown color. There is embroidered stitch detail throughout the waist band, and it is machine-stitched. Attached is a thinner leather shoulder strap, which connects to the waist band in two places via brass loops. Both the waist band and the shoulder strap have brass hardware and/or fixtures, as well as multiple sizing holes, which allow for adjustment. The waist band has a large brass buckle, with two prongs. There are two brass hooks on the opposite end of the waist band. Attached to the front, proper right, of the waist band is a leather belt loop and a metal chain sword hanger, with a metal clasp at the end.|
