Description This is a circular political button, made by lithographic process, for William Miller's 1964 vice presidential campaign. It has a horizontally striped red, white, and blue background with the slogan, "A NEW DAY/MILLER/A NEW DEAL," printed in white and blue print. On the edge, toward the bottom, there is a union label and manufacturing label that reads, "BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER, N.Y.", in white print. The back is stamped with the same label. It has a stickpin located on the back.
Notes William Miller, with his presidential runningmate Barry Goldwater, lost the 1964 presidential election to Lyndon B. Johnson's campaign.
