Description This is a wooden buggy jack. It has a two piece lap-jointed "X" base with rounded feet. A dowel through the center of the lap holds the main upright member. The main upright has seven angled slots to hold the jaw of the jack, which is a wooden wedge with two rectangles of sheet iron riveted through it. The sheets have rivets on opposite ends, which lock into the slots in the main support.
Notes Collected by the donor from antique shops and barns, etc. in southern Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky over the last thirty years.
