|Description||This is a buckle (c) and belt (d) from a cadet uniform. The buckle is made of brass and has two parts. One is rectangle shaped in a slight curve with an open are for the belt to thread through and a hook on the back. "N.S. Meyering \ New York" is stamped on the back The other end has an eye for the hook and a bar to hold the belt. The belt is white cotton canvas with two buttons that correspond to a breastplate strap. "JAMES E. KURZ" is stamped near one button.|
