Description This lithographed political pin tab button was created for the 1960 campaign of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. The button has a white background and blue lettering which reads, "KENNEDY / JOHNSON." On the round tab section there is an inscription which reads, "BASTIAN BROS. CO., ROCHESTER, N. Y." There are also union labels printed on the tab for the Sheet Metal Workers International Union, the Allied Printing Trades Council and the International Photo-Engraver's Union.
Notes John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson defeated Vice President Richard Nixon and Henry Cabot Lodge in the 1960 presidential election.
