Description This is a political button made using the celluloid process for the 1960 presidential campaign for John F. Kennedy. The button is circular with a white background and a blue and white photographic image of Kennedy in the center. The border of the button is half red and half blue with the red half being at the top of the button. There is white text set in the border that reads, "JOHN F. KENNEDY / FOR / PRESIDENT." Along the bottom edge, there is a white circular printer's label with small blue text that reads, "IUDTW" with line of illegible text above and below the legible print. The back of the button has a stick pin closure.
Notes John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson defeated Vice President Richard Nixon and Henry Cabot Lodge in the 1960 presidential election.
