Description This is an acrylic on canvas painting of the Gothic Revival home known today as the Bibb-Burnley House. It shows the house in a residential neighborhood with a black iron porch and fence. The house has a purple twin peaked roof and there is a sidewalk and spit of land with two trees in the right front.
Notes John Bibb House, 411 Wapping Street in Frankfort, known as "Gray Gables," built by Bibb in 1845. He was a horticulturalist famous for developing bibb lettuce.
