Description This molded glass salt dish or cellar is roughly oval with egg shaped reservoir. The bottom is frosted with a seven petal daisy cut into the center. The glass full of bubbles.
Notes This salt celler was owned by Ruben G. and Lucy Jones Clarkson of Breckinridge County, Ky. According to family tradition, Clarkson worked for Thomas Jefferson on his estate, Monticello, in Virginia, while Jefferson was president. They immigrated to Kentucky sometime after 1820 and settled near Irvington.
