Description This is a Bell & Howell 16 mm "Filmo Auto Master" movie camera with case and accessories. It includes camera lens, steel body covered with textured brown enamel, textured brown vinyl panels on both sides. There is an aperture and film speed meter on right side and a key wind on left side. It has rotating three lens, turret lens on front, each lens has its own separate view finder. There is a red rubber lens cap on f/4 lens and four metal caps stored in the case. There is a steel "steady strap" in the case to facilitate holding. Everything is housed in a brown leather-covered wooden case with steel latch and leather carrying strap. The case is lined with blue velvet and has two internal compartments. Includes a24 page instruction manual, two filters in yellow cases.
Notes This silent movie camera was purchased by the Kentucky Historical Society in the 1940s to document activities and events sponsored by the society. At the end of its useful life, it was added to the permanent collection.
