Description This effigy pot is most likely Aztec in origin. It is a sand tempered vessel in jar form with an applied effigy of a face wearing ceremonial headdress and large earrings. The vessel has two feet at the front that have been incised vertical lines. The face of the figure has holes at the eyes.
