Description This is a celluloid-type pinback button with a safety pin enclosure. It has a red, white and blue outer ring around the perimeter of the button face and white text. There is a color photo of George H. W. Bush in the center of the button. The text reads "GEORGE BUSH FOR PRESIDENT" in an arc around the top of the button face on a red background. The blue and white portion of the outer ring are along the bottom of the button. This includes two blue stars on either side of the year "1988" which is in white text on the blue background. There is also an inscription along the back edge of the button.
Notes President George Bush was defeated in his 1992 attempt at reelection by Democrat Bill Clinton of Arkansas.
