Description This brass pocket compass has a detachable lid and a glass face. The paper background has a compass rose with the cardinal directions. North is indicted by a fleur de lis. The cardinal directions are further divided into ordinal directions instead of degrees. An example is between North and East the paper divides out NNE, NE, and ENE. The needle is black and has both "N" and "S" marked on it in gold leaf. Part A is the compass. Part B is the brass lid.
