Currier; Center bottom margin-Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1847 by N. Currier in the Clerk's office of the District Court of the Southern District of New York; lower right margin-152 Nassau Street Con. of Spruce, N.Y.; bottom margin-Death of Col. John J. Hardin/of the 1st Regiment Illinois Volunteers/He fell mortally wounded, while in the act of leading his men at the battle of Buena Vista Feb. 23rd, 1847; center bottom margin-461.
Notes Currier was born in 1813 and died in 1888.
