1 material sample of fabric is in a plain weave structure. There are warp stripes in silver and gold Mylar strips. There are weft stripes in loosely-beaten blue-green wool and tightly- and loosely-beaten gold Mylar. The gold weft have twists in the weft giving a nub texture to the fabric. The side edges are selvage and the other edges are unfinished. There are no identifying tags or marks on this piece. The piece was made in collaboration with Churchill Weavers and Gerhardt Knodel. |
