Description |
1 material sample of fabric is in a plain weave structure. The warp alternates between clear Mylar (BoPET plastic) strips and grouped or single silver Mylar pinstripes. There are weft stripes in clear Mylar and two-ply wool yarns in marigold orange and taupe gray. The side edges are selvage and the other edges are taped. "33" is written in blue pen at the ends of one tape strip. The piece was made in collaboration with Churchill Weavers and Gerhardt Knodel. |
