Description |
1 material sample of fabric is in a plain weave structure. The warp alternates between clear Mylar (BoPET plastic) strips and grouped or single silver Mylar pinstripes. There are weft stripes in clear Mylar and two-ply wool yarns in marigold orange and taupe gray. The side edges are selvage, one edge is unfinished, and the other edge is taped. #38 written on tape. The piece was made in collaboration with Churchill Weavers and Gerhardt Knodel. |
