Description |
1 material sample of fabric is in a plain weave structure. There are warp stripes in silver and gold Mylar strips. The weft is in gold Mylar, with twists in the weft giving a nub texture to the fabric. A row of wefts across the center are loosely beaten. The side edges are selvage and the other edges are unfinished, with a piece cut out of one corner. There are no identifying tags or marks on this piece. The piece was made in collaboration with Churchill Weavers and Gerhardt Knodel. |
