Description |
1 coverlet (or daybed cover) is in a turned overshot weave structure where the design is made in the warp direction. The ground fabric is made of white cotton warps and brown and white wefts. The supplementary warp yarns are in burnt umber, peach, light yellow, white, celadon green, and brown. The long edges are selvage and the short edges are hemmed. This is a finished coverlet. The coverlet is made from yardage #6185 (cloth #131) and is similar to the "Churchill Kivverlet." |
