2007.45.1053. 1 Wool and rayon "Kashir Wrap" shawl is woven in a tight plain weave structure. Warp threads are beige with two dark brown stripes. Weft threads are of earth tone colors forming varying width stripes of beige, dark brown, ochre and copper. The ends are finished in unknotted fringe. There is a cardboard product tag stapled to the fabric with one side reading "Kashir Wrap/ Style 590/ Pat. 8" and the other side reading "The/ Churchill/ Weavers/ Berea, KY". Measurements are 40H(weft) x 84L(warp) in inches. |
