Description |
This small tray may be a cigarette or billing tray. It is made of heavy silver and is rectangular in shape and has rounded corners. The border is raised and edge is decorated with three raised bands. In the center of the tray is engraved "La Fayette" in cursive letters. On the back is engraved "R. WALLACE / 070 / SILVER SOLDERED / 7 In / LAFAYETTE." |

This tray is from the Lafayette Hotel in Lexington, Ky. In the 1980s, the hotel was converted to serve as the Lexington-Fayette County Government Headquarters. |
