Description |
This julep cup has the initials "H.B." engraved on the front. It is a coin silver cup with banded rims on the lip and the base. The sides are straight. |
Notes |
The cup was awarded to the donor's grandfather, (Charles) Horace Benton, at a fair in Paris, Kentucky. The hallmark on the piece indicates that is was made by Thomas King Marsh, a silversmith living in Paris around 1831. |
