Description |
This is a cast brass and enamel Menorah made by Hen-Holon of Israel. The base consists of four rectangles of brass, each decreasing in size from the one below it. The nine candle holders rise from a common stem, enameled in blue and red. The central candle holder rises straight from the base and is slightly taller than the other eight. These curve outward symmetrically from the stem and then recurve upward to an even horizontal height. Below each candle holder is an enameled symbol in red, green or blue. "Hen-Holon/ Made in Israel" is cast into the under side of the base. |
