Notes |
Born in New York, Henry Mosler was trained in Cincinnati, Ohio; Dusseldorf, Germany; and Paris, France. He lived in Munich and Paris later in life. He was a correspondent for Harper's Weekly during the Civil War, and submitted almost 40 etchings for publication, illustrating battles and other war scenes. |
