Description |
This is an enameled Japanned jewelry box, black with mother-of-pearl inlay. There is a tray inside which lifts out. The bottom is broken off, but is stored inside. There is a key hole and metal latch on the front. There is a painting of a mountain on a river with trees and a house on the inside, in white and gold. There are two birds and flowers on the front in mother-of-pearl, There are also flowers etched around the edges of the box lid. |
