Description |
A navy blue dress with black beading and a cream under bodice. It has a low rounded neckline with a snap over closure on the proper left shoulder and a hook closure and the waist. The sleeves are long and loose fitting. The skirt is an A-line shape and come to about the mid-calf. The beading runs vertically on the bodice, with two rows running front to back on the proper left and the proper right. The beading on the skirt is located on both sides, front and back, in a shape similar to the sun with a rectangle to frame the shape. There is a long sash which wraps around the front of the dress. A thin, 1" pin was used to fasten the sash at the proper left hip and is stored with the dress. |
