Description |
This is Fred R. Miller's American Leigon reunion badge from the 21st national convention. The piece has a brass frame at the top with a relief image of Chicago at the top and the words "21st NATIONAL CONVENTION" on the bottom. The piece has a paper inserted with the name "FRED R. MILLER" printed on it. The back of the frame has a pin and hool closure and several maker's marks. A satin ribbon is suspended from the frame and the ribbon has a stripe pattern of brown, rainbow, black, rainbow, and brown. A medallion is suspended from the ribbon and has a relief image of General Pershing on the face with the words "GENERAL PERSHING" and the date "1939" on the sides. Beneath the image of Pershing is the word "CHICAGO" and the American Legion seal. The back has a maker's mark that reads "GREENDUCK CO., CHI." |
