Description |
This is a box of "Thytuitary" in glass ampules. The box contains surgical thread, a piece o\f steel, and Two broken ampules inside (originally held six) in a cardboard box. One ampul is Thytuitary. The other is Pituitary. The box has a white label glued to lid. |

From the traveling obstetrics bag of Owen County doctor Arthur Threlkeld (1862-1942). Dr. Threlkeld was a fixture in Wheatley in Owen County, although he frequently traveled as far as Carroll County. He used a horse and buggy until 1920, when he bought his first Model T. |
