Description |
This is a magazine in French depicting images from places in Kentucky and Virginia. The front and back covers are covered with many golden fleur de lis, which is a stylized French lily, on a navy blue background. The top of every page has the words "Le Tour Du Monde," which means "Around the World." The title of the article on the first page reads "Visite Aux Grottes De Mammouth, Dans Le Kentucky (Etats-Unis)," which translates to "Visit to Mammoth Caves in Kentucky (USA)" in English. Below that reads "By: M. Poussielgue," which is the name of the author. The magazine has several pages of the article broken into sections with several images throughout. The images depict the Ohio River with steamboats on it and Louisville in the background, several images of Mammoth cave with people in the images, some in boats, fish, an outdoor school, and a slave auction.
