Description |
This pin is from the 28th Annual Convention of the United Daughters of the Confederacy held in St. Louis, MO from Nov.9-12, 1921. The pinbar is a frame for a name tag with a horse at the top and the "ST. LOUIS" embossed along the bottom. There are two separate ribbons: a white ribbon on top of a red longer ribbon. The white ribbon has red, white, and blue vertical piping on the viewer's left edge, and red, white, red piping along the right edge. "28th. / ANNUAL / CONVENTION / UNITED DAUGHTERS / OF THE / CONFEDERACY / St. Louis, Mo. / Nov. 8-12, / 1921" is printed in gold on the white ribbon. The longer red ribbon features "KENTUCKY" printed vertically in black. A green paper label is attached to the back of the white ribbon below the pinbar with, "STEINER ENGRAVING / & BADGES CO. / St. Louis, Mo." printed in black between two black lines. Below this, is a trade label and "80" also printed in black. |
