Description |
This is a Soviet or East Bloc tank crewman helmet. The shell of the helmet is made out of black mesh and has three strips of foam padding covered in black vinyl running over the top of the helmet with an adjustable Velcro strap located at the crown and the base. The front of the helmet has a black vinyl covered form pad running across front that extends down the earphones. There are two additional pads located on each side of the helmet. The earphones are covered in black leather. There are two adjustable straps beneath the helmet, and one is a chin strap. Chamois leather lines the interior surfaces of ear phones, straps, and interior edges of the helmet. There is a communication wire still attached to this helmet and it is secured by a band of leather. |
