Description |
This souvenir badge commemorates the United Confederate Veterans Reunion of 1900, which was held in Louisville, Kentucky. The top of the badge is made of a narrow arched bar that reads "SOUVENIR" with a fleur-de-lis at the top center. The bar has a pin with a looped clasp adhered to the back. Suspended from the bar is a brass shield with an eagle perched at the center. The Confederate flag and the United States flags are featured in the center, raised and in color. The inscription around the imagery reads, "UNITED CONFEDERATE VETERANS, May 30th, 1900, LOUISVILLE, KY." On the center of the reverse, the maker's name is stamped "Schwaab S. & S. Co." |
