Description |
This is a US Air Force HBT fatigue shirt. It is a heavy olive green cotton long sleeved shirt. It has a five button front with two breast pockets that have a pleated front and straight flaps. There is a short pointed collar. There are senior airman patches on the shoulders. A stenciled white cotton name tag, "CRISWELL" on left the breast. |

Floyd H. Criswell joined the Air Force on Oct. 17, 1951 in Harrison County. A flightline troubleshooter on F-51, F-84, & F-86 fighters, he served a tour in Korea and Japan from April 1954 to Sept. 1955, earning the Korean Service, UN Service, National Defense Service, and Good Conduct medals. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 2, 1955. Norman and Floyd Criswell were brothers. |
