Description |
This is a Submarine Combat Insignia Card, with no date. It is white colored card stock with printing in blue with spaces for information and signatures. These spaces have typed information. There is an outline of a submarine in blue, a star and an anchor. It recognizes Ewert W. Elliott for four patrols. On the reverse is "This card is to be carried at all times by the wearer of the Submarine Combat Insignia". |

This belonged to the donor's husband, Ewert W. Elliott. Ewert and Alene Elliott both were members of the United States Submarine Veterans of World War II (USSVWWII). Ewert served aboard the USS Seal (SS-183) and the USS Macabi (SS-375) submarines in World War II. |
