Description |
This is a wood engraving from an advertising pamphlet published for the Southern Sorgo Company of Louisville. It primarily shows a large image. The image depicts what a series of connected shed unit structures. Under the left most structure, stands a man against machine with two horses attached. The next shed has a few men standing against a brick square unit that has the sign Coagulator" on it. It is connected to a chimney and another brick unit with two signs reading "Finisher." The Final shed has what appear to be boxed shelving units and tables with machines on them. The Roof of this building has the sign "Kentucky Sorgo Compy." In the background one can see a field with tall plants and a small farm house nestled in a tree filed landscape. Thick clouds hang within the sky. Below the image it reads "Dover, Mason County, Ky. / W.W. Tabb, Secretary. / G. C. Bennett, President." |
