Description |
This is a rationing pledge sign printed on thin paper. At center, and taking up the majority of the page is a blue circle with a line of white stars running horizonatally through the upper half of circle. Inside the circle, the bust of a woman with short blond hair and blue eyes stares out at the viewer. She is wearing an orange and white dress and an apron, and is raising her right hand. Along the top of the circle, in black, text is printed reading, "I PAY NO MORE THAN TOP LEGAL PRICES." Two red stars separate this statement, one on either end, from the statement along the bottom of the cirlce, also printed in black: "I ACCEPT NO RATIONED GOODS WITHOUT GIVING UP RATION STAMPS." |
