Description |
This Liberty Loan poster has a green background with large, blue bold text centered at the top that states, "Remember Belgium." In smaller white text, the poster says, "Buy Bonds Fourth Liberty Loan." At the bottom of the poster, there is a fiery orange and yellow suggestion of burning city at the bottom. In the foreground is a the silhouette of a German Soldier shown in pulling a resistant young girl by one arm through the flames of a what is leading the viewing to believe is a ravished Belgium. Ellsworth Young's, the artist, name is the lower left corner of the print. |
