This is a color sketch of a young woman weaving a green dress standing under a tree. Her right hand is touching the tree. She is dangling a basket on her left arm. She has dark hair and is wearing a long reddish head covering. She has on gray undersleeves. white stockings and black shoes. There is an inscription under the image that reads "THE EMIGRANTS DAUGHTER--LIFE IN THE WEST." |
