Description |
This is a fixed diameter hollow auger. It has a square tip on one end, and two screws on the base. There is also a screw and wing nut on the hollow tube. |
Notes |
A bit brace tool used to cut a round tenon on a wagon spoke or chair rung. The hollow augur was a common tool in repair shops as well as in wheelwright shops. |
