Description |
This US Air Force Class B garrison cap is long with points front to back. It folds in half and becomes a flat rectangle. It is made of blue wool and polyester with a satin interior and has a blue pinstripe on the upturned edge. The inside has a paper sweatband. |
Notes |
Floyd H. Criswell joined the Air Force on Oct. 17, 1951 in Harrison County. A flightline troubleshooter on F-51, F-84, & F-86 fighters, he served a tour in Korea and Japan from April 1954 to Sept. 1955, earning the Korean Service, UN Service, National Defense Service, and Good Conduct medals. He was honorably discharged on Sept. 2, 1955. Norman and Floyd Criswell were brothers. |
