Description |
This is a short handled cooper's adz. It has a rectangular eye in the rough center of the tool. There is a long rectangular poll and a long sharply curved blade which flares outward to beveled edge. The handle is a replacement. |

A cooper's adz is fitted with a very short handle adapted for swinging with one hand within the radius of a cask to cut the chime bevel or howel surface. |
