Description |
This Rococo Revival arm chair is part of a fourteen piece parlor set. The wood trim of the chair is a veneered walnut with a rosewood stain. The pieces are curved and have carved floral embellishments. There arms are fluted on the hand rests and down the front legs. There is a floral medallion on the front of the seat frame. There are brass casters on the front legs. The back,seat and arm pads are upholstered in a reproduction rose damask fabric. |

This sofa is part of fourteen piece parlour set used at 'Liberty Hall' in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was originally purchased in New Orleans by the Brown family. |
